Data consistency structure for roundtable.world
In order to keep the platform up-to-date, it is important to work together and divide the work between the levels. We can think of the levels connecting like a chain where each part of the chain looks after the next to ensure data consistency on all fronts. In order for the chain to work each level has to assign one main administrator. Below is a list of levels and the responsibilities from the most important level and up:
Nation association – Clubs
On the club level the magic happens. Here we have the most fun. Each club has to appoint one DataManager. His duties on roundtable.world are to keep the membership roster up-to-date, activities, reports, etc … You can also decide not do set such a function. Beside him, the whole board is able to administrate the whole table data
Nation Association – Area (if applicable)
Area chairmen (or an appointed person by him in his place) oversees his area activities, meetings, etc is up to date. Additionally, he is in charge to assist the clubs in his area that their data is up-to-date like proper board functions and membership numbers to name a few.
Nation association
National admin is in charge to keep his national association up to date. Main objectives are:
- Contact information, logo, rondel and motto/description.
- Data officer information correct
- Statutory years are set
- Board information is correct
- AGM dates
He follows up with the area responsible or clubs responsible (in case there is only one area) and makes sure that the boards and membership information is up-to-date.
RTI – Regional Chairman
Reginal chairmen (or an appointed person by him in his place) is in charge to keep his region up-to-date and adding the activities and other data they want to set for his region. His responsibilities are also to follow up with the national associations so that they are up-to-date. Recommended incorporating some oversight or training to the regional meetings. Amon duties:
RTI – Online Vision manager
Checks with the regional chairman responsible to ensure the regional data is up-to-date. Can be outsourced to a data consistency team.
