Create news articles and edit news articles

How do I create a news article?

By default, the whole Board and the function DataManager are entitled to create and change a news article.

  1. Click Admin> Communication (left bar under standard modules)> News Article
  2. Click on the big window on the right to create a new news article.

You can of course add a title to an article, as well as the appropriate content. Attachments such as videos, pictures, etc. can be uploaded directly and automatically linked. The text can easily be adapted and optically structured by using the formatting tools or HTML-code.

Furthermore, you can add one or more tags (hashtags) to your article, to simplify the search. How to create a tag can be found here.

Other attachments that are not directly in the text of the article can be added on the right side, as well as other settings may be adjusted regarding the visibility of the article on TABLER.WORLD, such like:

  • Time of visibility
  • Permissions to view
  • Highlighting
  • Allow comments

Be advised to choose some date in the future to review your article again and correct it or adjust the layout before publishing it.

How do I change a news article?

Under “Admin> Communication> News” you can see all news articles. There you can use the action button to edit individual articles or select multiple items. After this you can use the action button (appearing at the top) to publish multiple articles at the same time, unpublish them or remove or add individual tags. This is useful if, for example, you have added a new tag and want to add it to several news articles.
