multiple Financial Organisations

In this article we explain what a financial organisation is and how you can configure it in Tabler.World

What are financial organisations?
Financial organisations allow you to split up your finances. This can be necessary if you want to keep track of the finances of several associations or if you want to keep track of membership fees, activities and/or sponsoring within one association.

A financial organisation always has 2 diaries: cost notes/invoices and credit notes.

You can add a new financial organisation via Admin > Settings > Finances > Preferences.

Manage financial organisations

For each financial organisation, you can set the following:

name
prefix for all financial documents (e.g. #XYZ.202000001)
logo on the cost notes/invoices and credit notes
invoice address
payment term
standard account number / reminder pattern
extra message on cost notes/invoices/credit notes
whether structured messages (OGM) are used
standard e-mail templates
whether support for VAT (*) is active
(*) can only be activated for new financial organisations without cost notes/credit notes.

Example: Table X has 2 financial organisations: one for membership fees and activities (without VAT) and one for their sponsoring (with VAT).

Using financial organisations

Overview financial organisations
If you have added more than 1 financial organisation, the menu in the management area will now look different. You will now have a button per financial organisation with 2 diaries underneath “Cost invoices” and “Credit notes”.

Example: 2 financial organisations (Membership fees and Sponsoring)

Choose a financial organisation
If you have added more than 1 financial organisation, you will have to indicate through which financial organisation the cost should eventually be charged each time you organise an activity or charge a fee.

Example: add closed activity
