How to see data from cross family association

Since we are extending the directory and platform to our Round Table family the goal is to be able to search for units cross platform. Due to this some might not want to share their data while others would like to. Here we explain how we can enable/disable the option. Administrators can not set privacy levels or change your cross family sharing preferences, only the user.

Open your profile by clicking on your name in top right corner. just under that you see a link called Cross family sharing. Clicking on this will open a window which will allow you to enable or disable cross family sharing.

Once you have enabled it and the link says it’s ACTIVE you can change the privacy settings by clicking the icon next to the fields and select the level you are comfortable with.

If you want to share your data also with cross-family associations, select for all families. If you choose visible for my clubfamily (RTI), the cross family associations will not see your data, but everybody who is in Round Table International will.

It is recommended to share some data with all families. If you decide not to (which is perfectly fine) the field where your name should be is blurred and no one can search for you in the user directory. For GDPR purposes we intentionally hid the the name of the Tabler.World Manager and Webmaster but under normal conditions he has accepted cross platform sharing while the Past President has not so you can see how the field will show.
