Introduction

Each year RTI, Regions, Associations and even clubs give out awards to Tablers, Clubs, Projects, events and others for a job well done. Tabler.World wants you to show off your heroes so it has a special section called the Hall of Fame to show them to the tabling world. After all it’s not just presidents and chairmen that should be there. On Tabler.World there are two ways to add your awards. Either by using the build in positions and functions but also a special awards menu.

VIPS

VIPS are automatic generated when a member gets a function in his profile that is an VIP function or a President function. Associations should use this method for the Tabler of the Year award. Not recommended to create other custom awards as a function. It will not show up in the Hall of Fame for one and is very difficult to search for these custom awards.

Go on the level you want to add the VIP function. then Admin > CRM > Contacts > choose the member > Action > Profile > Add position > choose group and function.

The VIP function is showed in the member profile as any other group and function.

You can choose the following group and functions that will be visible in hall of fame:

  • VIP – Honorary member
  • VIP – AGM Convenor
  • VIP – Tabler of the year
  • Board – President

Awards menu

Recommended way to show off your awards. Names of recipients are visible in your Hall of Fame and you can add as many awards as you want. The award menu is in your admin Area under Admin > Settings > Awards. Here you can either add a new award + or edit award category/add winners/delete category by clicking the actions button by each award.

 

New award

Fill in the Name and Order of the award. The order is important how higher the order the award will be moved more up than other awards with lower orders in the hall of fame.

New Winner

click on Action on the award where you want to add a winner and select Edit.

Select New winner or press Action > Edit.

Select the statutory year and type of winner. Different type of winners give different options.

1. Contact

When you select a contact you can insert the name of a Tabler as a winner. You can optional give extra information as plain text.

In the hall of fame, the Tabler is linked and you can directly go to his profile. Also on his profile you will see the award in the left bottom of the profile.

2. Club, Area or Association

When you select Club, Area or Association you can insert the name of a Club, Area or Association as a winner. You can optional give extra information as plain text.

In the hall of fame the Club, Area or Association is linked and you can directly go to the profile of Club, Area or Association. Also on the  profile of the Club, Area or Association you will see the award in the left bottom of the profile.

3. Free text

When you select free text you can fill in the winner as a free text.

In the hall of fame this winner will be showed as plain text and is not connected.

For RTI Region Presidents

Every year, each RTI region hands out awards in their region at their Regional meeting. Only the regional chairman is able to add the awards. Follow the next steps to add an award on region level. Admin > Settings > Regions > Action > Edit
